Understanding recoupable expenses

Certain external expenses related to fulfilling licensing obligations may be passed through to licensors, as applicable. These expenses may include physical hard drives, ingestion, scraping, data transfers, hosting/storage, transcoding, and other pre-processing steps required to fulfill a licensing deal.  

Once calculated, these expenses are directly visible in the licensor portal in the Delivery & Earnings portal. Because of the nature of these expenses, the calculations may not be completed until after licensors receive a payment from a completed deal.
